In a week and two days I will be flying to southern Chile to do research for my EAT BOOK on a cow, sheep, and honey farm.
It’s been a while since I have left the US for an extensive period of time and I am really feeling the itch to get the hell out of here. I need to slow down, observe my surroundings, inhale the smell of the day, and discover more fully what it is that nourishes me.
I will be staying in a little house all by my lonesome, writing, painting, and shoveling cow poo for seven weeks. Oh it will do absolute wonders for my brain. It will certainly be a drastic change from my menial office job.

Already you leave,
to sweet Chile.
Vino y la comida de la tierra, you're gonna love it amiga. You could do a series on manure, pictures of cow patties. You could desing a patty pattern and sell the line to Target, so the whole of America can decorate their cells with fashionable bovine feces.
You never know- it could work.
Whatever you do
it'll be beautiful:
lines and washes and colores,
your's and nature's
earthy and thick
on paper or flesh
as myth or magick.
We live in a spiritual universe.
Ciao
